Oppo recently unveiled its Reno3 and Reno3 Pro. In an article gsmarena.com posted, it was stated that the two devices recently unveiled have surpassed 1.46 million "registrations of interest in China, out of which 580,000 came through JD.com. The lineup became the booking champ, too, on TMall for this year. Despite the impressive figure, the number of registrations that will be converted to sales remains to be seen. However, the numbers are indications of high interest, which Oppo garnered for its "first wave of 5G smartphones."
Figures to Reach 1.5 Million
Also reported by several online 1.46-million figures for the Oppo Reno3 and Reno3 Pro registrations were recorded on Dec. 27, and the final count, according to tech reports, is possible "to have crossed 1.5 million" by this time. Powered by Mediatek's Dimensity 1000L SoC, The Reno3 also starts with the price, $485. The Pro version, on the other hand, has Snapdragon 765G SoC, and it costs $570.
Along with Oppo's expansion of its Reno series late last week, is the "dual-mode 5G support." The devices are equipped with quad cameras, as well, making it an ideal device for social media posting. Reno 3 will be available in 8GB and 128GB variants, while the higher-end gadget comes in 12GB and 128GB models. They start going on sale from Dec. 31. However, no announcement has been made yet, in terms of their international or global availability. Those who registered for ownership of the phones have four different colors to look forward to, like Moon Night Black, Misty White, Blue Starry Night, and Sunrise Impression.
Specs and Features
As earlier mentioned, the Oppo Reno 3 is "powered by the octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1000L SoC. Reno 3 Pro, the more feature-filled model and more expensive one, comes in 8GB and 128 GB model, while the higher-end device features 12 GB and 256 GB configuration. The mobile device's model is also set to go on sale on Dec. 31, Tuesday, in China, while the top-end variant will be available on sale on Jan. 10, 2020 onwards.
Meanwhile, the Reno 3 Pro, also known as the Pantone Edition comes in Classic Blue color and it starts being sold on January 10, 2020. Finally, Oppo has unveiled too, the "Enco Free true cordless earbuds that will go on sale, also on January 31, 2020, onwards. They will be available in Pink, White, and black colors.
Both the Oppo Reno 3 and Reno 3 Pro are dual-SIM devices and feature a 6.5-inch Curved AMOLED display screen. Both phones also have the Gorilla Glass 5 protection and with a peak brightness of 800 nits. Other specs and features include the 504ppi pixel density, 93.4% screen-to-body ratio, 5000000: 1 contrast ratio, and HDR10+ support. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC, Oppo Reno 3 Pro, ticks alongside up to 12GB RAM.
