Who said that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare only entertains violence and morbid death? Since it is the holidays and the time for peace and Christmas spirit, Call of Duty also promises to pause for a while with all the blood-spitting actions seen on the video game and offer something light like snow. Literally like snow as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is offering a snowball fight in replacement with guns and knives used normally on the game.

Who Wants to Play Snowball in COD?

To keep up from the holiday fever, Call of Duty recently announced its new added feature of snowball fight for all to play. From Dec. 24 at 10 am PT until Dec. 31 at the same time, and Modern Warfare will continue its game with the snowball mode. The game still aims to kill or be killed but with the use of snowballs only.

If you think that will affect your game, you are sorely mistaken. Just like knives, guns, or grenades, chunks of snowballs can easily kill your opponents.

How To Access the Snow Ball Mode in COD?

To access this mode, players will only have to pick up snowballs in the new Winter Docks map on where players can see different sets of wreaths, holiday lights, and a group of four scary-looking snowmen. If you are brave enough, you can also challenge the snowmen and receive a fun and seasonal easter egg.

Based on an article posted on Gamerant, COD players will start with snowballs on the first round of the gunfight match. After this, if you are feeling too soft with the snowballs, players can easily change back to guns and knives to fight against your opponents. However, if you like, you can still access snowballs until the end of your game as long as you do not run out of them.

Other Holiday Treats from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare

If the snowball fight does not interest you at all, you can still expect more things to see on COD. Just like for Call of Duty: Mobile Players, a holiday-themed Prop Hunt is waiting for you until Dec. 31. Not only that, but mobile players can also win a new battle royale class (the hologram-toting Trickster), however, until Dec. 29 only.
