Surprisingly, the already-established brand was not the first to launch the prototype of 'foldables' to the public, but the Chinese startup company, Huawei, instead. This firm introduced its then well-hidden Mate X model to the greater range of consumers at the MCWC in February, and it had carefully stolen the show.

2. iPhone 11 Line

Every year, Apple is launching a new collection of iPhone and iPad products. This year, its launch of the iPhone 11 line remains the biggest, and arguably the most significant individual mobile phone release of the year. Although they are constantly at the forefront of adopting new innovations, the focus and design trends of the iPhone tend to turn into those of the so-called "market at large" since they are "adopted" or copied by other phone makers in an attempt to attract more extensive consumer base.

This last quarter of the year, Google's Pixels are said to have fallen short of perfection. With its collection of Pixel smartphones, now in its 4th repetition, the tech giant has sought to showcase the world its edition of what and how an Android device should be, along with hardware for a perfect match. Usually, an excellent camera is seen to partner an excellent software experience, on top of the somewhat intermittent hardware experience. It is essential to know that this year, the Pixel smartphones' prices continued increasing.
