Now that holidays are finally happening in each household taking the time to choose a perfect food delivery company at your expense can be quite difficult. With all tons of food applications available to choose from on the internet, you have got to listen to some advice.

Interestingly, Travis Kalanick-- Uber's recently ousted co-founder and one of the richest businessmen in the world, has something else to offer for food delivery fans-- even people who are thinking of making it into a business. The company named 'Cloud Kitchens' has been going on for a while, and for some people that do not know what it is, here's everything you need to know.

Give way to 'Cloud Kitchens'

Once a billionaire tells you to invest in something, you have got to listen. That is why Travis Kalanick took his time to invest in Cloud Kitchens, and people are lining up to do the same thing. Before that, what does 'Cloud Kitchens' do?

Cloud Kitchens is a startup platform that is designed to help businessmen and tenants in giving the best delivery services for its customers by providing them cheap properties and low-cost food through various partner delivery apps. As of now, the company optimizes delivery services with Uber Eats, Postmates, Eat24, Doordash, Caviar, and GrubHub.

In the United States, the name of Cloud Kitchens has not been totally recognized. However, bigger countries like China and India have already hooked with this company's service.

"In the traditional restaurant world, there is an uphill battle to stay relevant. It is much faster and more flexible to create and build a delivery-only brand; this is the future. CloudKitchens allows me to experiment much more freely because the risk of failure is significantly reduced. If a brand doesn't work, you just turn it off the delivery apps. That's it." said Eric Greenspan--one of the testimonials on the website.

Why Travis Kalanick Left Uber for Cloud Kitchens

Kalanick is known not just with Uber's fame but with his reputation of investing in other types of businesses. So when he mentioned his resignation with the ride-hailing company Uber and all of his shares were already sold in the market, the world needs to know what his next step should be.

In 2018, Kalanick tweeted a picture of his statement regarding his 'new gig' that involves the name of Cloud Kitchens and its holding company, the Los Angeles-based City Storage Systems company. He said that he bought $150 million worth of investment shares on the said company that was mainly to 'fuel job creation' in the industry.

Although Kalanick's switch of industries was said to be part of his 'philanthropic act', a lot of other reports expressed that his resignation was already anticipated since tons of other issues were attached to the name of Kalanick in the past.

According to BBC, some of his controversies involve sexual harassment and bullying, legal dispute with Google's parent company Alphabet over the alleged theft of trade secrets related to driverless cars, and the trending video of Kalanick having a fight with one of Uber's San Francisco drivers over fares.
