How's your Pokedex, fellow Pokemon Go player? Are we getting a hard time in catching some pocket monsters in gym raids? No worries, you still have time left before 2020 charges its way. Luckily, Pokemon Go recently released updates of its year-ender games and programs for all loyal Pokemon Go fans, and it involves some of the best pocket monsters that will be available in gym raids this weekend.

Go Out and Catch 'Lugia and Ho-Oh' in Gym Raids Today!

On Dec. 20, marks a memorable date for all Pokemon Go players out there that aims to collect psychic- and flying-type Pokemon Lugia and fire- and flying-type Pokemon Ho-Oh. Starting on Dec. 20 at 1 pm EST up until Dec. 23 at the same time, gym raids will be encountering Lugia and Ho-Oh as one of the Legendary Pokemon to watch out in battles. Once you gained access to the nearest gym raids and defeated tier 4 pocket monsters, you can now try and do your best to battle against these powerful pocket monsters. However, a little reminder, this is only available this weekend!

What We Know About Lugia and Ho-Oh and Hacks to Catch Them

If you're a long-time player of Pokemon Go, you will know how iconic this weekend will be as Lugia and Ho-Oh will be returning to their original homes in Pokemon Go after being away for a while. These legendary pocket monsters will be up for tier 5 battles, that's why expect some freaking mind-blowing battle rounds between your chosen Pokemon and Lugia and Ho-Oh-- if you want to defeat them. Luckily, you do not need to research that much anymore as here are some of the information you'll need to 'catch 'em all.'

Strengths and Weaknesses of Lugia

Since Lugia is a psychic- and flying-type Pokemon, some of its possible fast and charge moves are below, based on Eurogamer:

Possible Fast Moves:

  • Dragon Tail (Dragon)
  • Extrasensory (Psychic)

Possible Charged Moves:

  • Future Sight (Psychic)
