If you're an avid gamer of Pokemon Go, it is pretty sure that you've already experienced failing to catch that Legendary Pokemon on tier 5 whenever Pokemon Go Raids are going on at gyms. It is saddening and a kind-of-humiliating experience for all the masters of the game whenever that Legendary Pokemon slips out of your hands. That's why in order to have that sweet taste of success, you might have to check in with some hacks to 'catch 'em all.'
Luckily, Pokemon Go recently announced that there will be another raid to watch out for gamers out there starting on Dec.17 up until Jan. 7. Do not miss this opportunity as Virizion will be up for battle on this Pokemon Go raid.
Are you ready for the Next Pokemon Go Raid?
If you already have a team of Pokemon Go players, better message them right now. Virizion is getting hot, and you must catch him before someone's team does. Starting on Dec. 17 up until Jan. 7, 2020, at 4 pm EST, Pokemon Go will change its gaming features and take Virizion to level 5 of the tiers. That also means that Terrakion might not be available at a later time to give way to our Legendary Pokemon-- that both belong to Pokemon 'Swords of Justice.'
Virizion—Powers and Weaknesses
Virizion is a dual-type Grass or Fighting Legendary Pokémon that was first introduced in Generation V. Aside from its strength, one interesting fact about Virizion is that this Legendary Pokemon can be easily defeated through battling with flying-type pocket monsters.
Also, take note that Virizion has the ability to be repellant on powers involving grass, electricity, water, or rock-type pocket monsters.
Hacks on Taking Down Virizion on Pokemon Go Raids
As mentioned, Virizion's main weakness is through battling with flying-type Pokemon attacks. So if you're going to challenge the Legendary Pokemon, why not try your flying-type monsters in your Pokedex? Luckily, you can have tons of choices for this battle.
As summarized by News Week, here's the list of possible Pokémon and moves that you can use to challenge Virizion:
- Moltres with any Fire or Flying moves (preferably two Flying moves)
- Honchkrow with any two Flying moves
- Rayquaza with any two Flying moves
- Unfezant with any two Flying moves
- Mewtwo with any two Psychic moves
- Ho-Oh with two Flying moves
If you do not have these pocket monsters at your disposal, might as well try other types of attacks in Virizion-- if these actions don't work. As said, Virizion is also weak to poison, fire, psychic, ice, and Fairy-type Pokemons-- so you better research your Pokemon that you had caught for the past years if they have this power attacks.
