So long, Iron Man.
If you're a fan of Marvel comics specifically Iron Man, your heart might still be mourning until now after what happened to his character-- no spoilers here. Luckily, you can still see Tony Stark tackle about science and artificial intelligence on camera, through Youtube's newest original series, 'The Age of AI.' However, don't expect to see Iron Man suit up on this series as the actor playing the character, Robert Downey Jr. will be its main host. And as usual, fans are ecstatic to watch its debut episodes.
'The Age of A.I.'-- New Youtube Series to Watch Out
Do you have tons of questions when it comes to the concept of Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) technology? This is the perfect series for you.
'The Age of A.I.' is a documentary series launched in Dec. 18 by Youtube Learning as part of their Original Series. This show tackles different forms of A.I. technology that has been going on in the world or even some that are still unknown by most people. The documentary is divided into eight episodes that will explain Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Neural Networks and how it can affect your life or the world in the future.
As explained, Robert Downey Jr. will be the main host of the show. The first episode of the series named 'How Far is Too Far?' already reached more than 600,000 views on Youtube. In here's episode, RDJ explained how A.I. can transform the music industry. Through meeting with Soul Machines CEO and known special effects artist, Mark Sagar, he mentioned how A.I. tech helped him to create an AI-animated digital avatar for the Black Eyed Peas' member will.i.am.
For the second episode aired on the same day with the title 'Healed through A.I.,' the show presented how A.I. technology goes beyond even to the point of resolving health issues in several ways.
The third and fourth episodes of The Age of A.I. are said to be tackling how artificial intelligence can build a 'better human' in the future and how the technology can also have its effect on 'Love, Art, and Stories'-- though these episodes are still unaired yet, for some users.
Youtube Allows You To Watch These Episodes Now!
Back then, Youtube already announced that to watch their original shows, users must sign in to their premium accounts and pay for their series. However, the Google subsidiary recently reversed its decision and finally allowed non-premium accounts to watch their original series. Still, there are perks of being a Youtube premium account owner since there will be no advertisements on their channel, and you can have access to the director's cut and bonus episodes from their series.
2020 and A.I. Technology
According to Agustin Huerta, VP of Technology in Globant in an interview with Forbes, 2019, became A.I.'s developing year. Due to this, 2020 is expected to "become the year of augmented organizations, where A.I. will penetrate every area of the organization to augment human intelligence and enable employees to do their jobs more optimally."
