Kingdom Hearts III, an action role-playing video game released early this year, has uploaded their teaser for the most recent downloadable content (DLC) of the game with the title Kingdom Hearts III Re: Mind.
The fans of the game went crazy after seeing the trailer that will mainly focus on the main character, Sora, before the final battle. He will try to save Kairi-- one of its major original characters.
Though the trailer showed some snippets of the DLC, a lot of fans still think that Kingdom Hearts III Re: Mind trailer does not give that much detail on what will be the main challenges in the game.
Walking Back to the First Kingdom Hearts
For gamers out there that are not yet familiar with Kingdom Hearts, there's so much information you must know-- from its first release and why so many fans found this game interesting to play.
Kingdom Hearts is no longer a new video game series to watch out. This game started on March 28, 2002, in Japan that was available for Playstation 2 gamers. In this video game, the main characters like Sora, Kairi, and Riku underwent different adventures that mainly involves hearts and dark beings known as the Heartless. What's more interesting in the game is that a lot of other characters are present in the game, such as Disney and Final Fantasy characters.
After its first release in 2002, the game went phenomenal that the partnership between Square Enix and Disney Interactive-- the main producers of Kingdom Hearts-- produced succeeding games after the very first one. With this success, gamers were introduced on its other game installments such as Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, Coded, X, and many more. To the point that the game successfully distributed 30 million copies all over the world as of Feb 2019.
Now, the fantasy game is down to its Kingdom Hearts III, having an interesting DLC available soon.
Kingdom Hearts III Re: Mind Soon Available in PS4
Square Enix first announced that the DLC will be launched this year, although obviously, it did not go according to plan. Now, the company happily shared the great news along with other gamers on the recent Playstation State of Play stream, which happened on Dec. 10. On this event, the official trailer of the game was released-- showing the updated gameplay featuring Roxas and Kairi along with the shocking scene between Sora and the mysterious character of Yozora.
Among the fascinating scenes to be expected in the game is the comeback of Final Fantasy 7 characters such as Aerith and Yuffie and Final Fantasy 8 character, Squall. Aside from these snippets, a lot of major things were also presented in the trailer-- though it is hard to decipher all of these since the game is kind of complex to understand, which ironically makes fans more captivated with the game.
Kingdom Hearts III Re: Mind Now on its Pre-Order
Square Enix had already shared the released date of the DLC, which will happen on Jan. 23, 2020, for PS4. However, Xbox One users must wait for a little while until February 2020. Though the good news is that the game was already gone live for fans that want it to be pre-ordered.
For the price of $30 (base game required to play), this game is available at the Playstation store. Aside from that, Kingdom Hearts III Re: Mind also features more new things to watch out:
