Monster Hunter World is an action role-playing game made by Capcom that was first launched in Jan. 26, 2018. Since then, the game was made into a series. One of its parts is Monster Hunter World: Iceborne that now has been updated five times within the past year, from its Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Ver. 10. 11 released on Sept. 5 to its latest of Ver. 11. 50 released on Nov. 7.

And on Dec. 5, another exciting and memorable game upgrade can be accessed through Xbox One and Playstation 4 of the said game that is now on its 6th update, the Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Ver. 12. 01.

How to Play Monster Hunter World?

To all gamers out there that is not yet hooked with Monster Hunter, the game is simple. You will be a Monster Hunter. From the definition itself, you will hunt different kinds of monsters on various environmental spaces available in the game.

Either killing or trapping the monsters is all up to you. Once you've successfully killed or trapped them, you will receive a reward through a loot that includes parts of the monster or things you need to craft new and stronger weapons against new monsters. The more you hunt powerful monsters, the stronger your weapons will be. This game can be played alone or a team that consists of four players via their online multiplayer.

Does it have a difference between other updates?

Of course! Since updates are needed to upgrade the game, there will be slight changes you'll need to anticipate on Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Update Ver. 12.01. Compared to its Ver. 11.50 that only had 400 MB download size, this updated game has a download and install size of 2.1 GB on PS4 while 2.8 GB on Xbox One. The game is much larger to cater to different upgrades in display and new environmental places to be visited by players.

There's a New Environmental Space in the Game?

Absolutely! Since Capcom is now down to its 6th update, the company announced that a new environmental space would be available for 12.01. The game will add a cutscene that unlocks the Tundra Region in the Guiding Lands, which will introduce new weapon trees, armors, and skills—that you'll need to fight a new monster on the game.

There's a New Monster in Update Ver. 12.01?

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne will introduce monster Stygian Zinogre—a grey, white, and red and typically larger than the normal individual monster that is identified as a Fanged Wyvern and a subspecies of Zinogre, which was first introduced in Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate. It is expected to appear in a cutscene in the Guiding Lands, after finishing the story of Iceborne.
