Snapdragon 765G to Power Reno3P Pro; SD865 Flagship Set for Q1 2020 - Oppo Announced

After announcing its Snapdragon 765G and SD 865 processors, OPPO Vice President and Global Sales President Allen Wu formally announced its forthcoming Reno3 Pro smartphone, scheduled for launch this month. The said new device would have the Snapdragon 865 and Snapdragon 765G processors for its features. Additionally, the 7nm chipset is set to bring the Snapdragon Elite Gaming, 5G connectivity, and exceptional performance in the phone's ultra-thin form factor.

In an article posted on GizmoChina, it was stated that the OPPO official made the said announcement via a press statement. More so, the said article also stated that "the Reno3 Pro will have a punch-hole display for a single front-facing camera." The fast-growing phone company confirmed, too, that the new smartphone features a 4025 battery capacity, not to mention its impressive 7.7-millimeter thickness.

Unnamed Flagship 5G Smartphone

Part of the announcement is Oppo's plan to launch an unidentified flagship 5G-enabled smartphone in which Snapdragon 865 Mobile Platform will power during the first quarter of 2020. The company said that OPPO would be among the first companies to do so. It added it would indeed be interesting to see who is the first-ever to introduce a Snapdragon 865 phone among all the Chinese manufacturers of smartphones. Meizu and Xiami are both racing to be the first, but the real winner will be whose smartphone is available in the market first, rather than the one who first made the announcement.

According to OPPO, its flagship smartphone is set to bring better gaming, camera, and artificial intelligence (AI) experiences with enhanced performance courtesy of the Snapdragon 865 Mobile Platform. The company revealed plans, too, of announcing more 5G products later on. In relation to this, power users will definitely be glad to know that the all-new Snapdragon X55 5G Modem-RF System by Qualcomm that is part of the SD 865 Mobile platform is impressively fast. With the speeds the SD 865, it means that under ideal circumstances, the flagship platform can surpass the majority of the wired connections.
