WWE Superstar Ronda "Rowdy" Rousey shares snippets of her farm life and what's keeping her busy while on break from the wrestling ring.

The Wrestler's 'Dirt Road Paradise'

In a video posted on her YouTube channel, the American professional wrestler shared a close-up look on her domestic life with husband Travis Browne. For Thanksgiving dinner, the couple decided to harvest their own turkeys.

Growing and sourcing their own food is part of the pair's mission to live sustainably and ethically. In October 2018, the Rowdy wrestler revealed details about Browsey Acres, which was described on her official website as a "sustainable ranch home that radiates love."

While the farm in Riverside, California, offers "sustainable solitude" for animals, it gives the power couple a chance to enjoy the married life, away from the body slams and Superman punches. However, living ethically does not come without a price.

A month after making her last WWE appearance, the first UFC female champion uploaded a documentary highlighting the emotional dilemma that she and Browne frequently face at the farm. They talked about their efforts to grow and source their own food, discussing the moral challenge that comes from having to kill the animals they have grown to love.

"That's all we're trying to do, is just make sure the animals here have a good life so that whether we eat them, or their eggs, or put them to work, that they want to be here," said Browne. "They want to work. They want to do everything they can do because they're happy. They love it here."

Rowdy's In-Ring Return

In January, news broke on the internet that Rousey would be leaving WWE shortly after WrestleMania 35. True enough, the wrestling event in April marked her last appearance on the company after she fought in a Triple Threat match with Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair. In this controversial match, Rousey lost the Raw Women's Championship title to Lynch.

According to Forbes, it is still unclear if or when the wrestler will return to WWE, although her contract with the company does not expire until April 2021.

FOX officials reportedly wanted her on SmackDown's debut show in June, but WWE CEO Vince McMahon, apparently, did not want to bring her back for a one-off appearance. In a report by Wrestling Observer Radio's Dave Meltzer, it was revealed that McMahon wanted to hold off her return until she's ready for a full-fledged match.

Since her first appearance at the Royal Rumble in 2018, Rousey has faced several of WWE's top female superstars, including Nia Jax, Sasha Banks, Nikki Bella, and Stephanie McMahon. On the other hand, she is yet to face a few fresh opponents in the ring, like Asuka, Shayna Baszler, and Candice LeRae.
