This one-week family-friendly journey will even give you bonuses like attacking boosts once you raid with your friends.
In addition to that, you can even have a discount on trading Stardust that is now on its half price. Players can also make two Special Trades in a day compared to a non-friend fest day. Along with more chances to catch various Pokemon in the wild.
Terrakion is Coming to Five-Star Raids
Since the week is termed 'Friend Fest,' you will need your Pokemon Go friends to hunt with you. Especially today that Terrakion, a rock-type attacker, is available to be grabbed in five-star raids. This means that your friends can easily defeat this pocket monster-- if you know his weakness-- and have him on your own. Although make sure to start it now as this will end up until Dec. 17.
Win those Pokemon Go Research Tasks
Pokemon Go Friend Fest 2019 does not just end there. The game is also working out to give players a handful of Field Research tasks wherein once players successfully have done, a reward will be given in the end.
Here is the list of the research tasks along with the rewards you can have while doing it:
1. Win a trainer battle against another trainer-- you will win a Dugtrio or Dodrio encounter
2. Trade a Pokemon with a friend -- 500 worth of Stardust, Nidorino or Nidorina encounter
3. Catch a male Nidoran -- has its counterpart, the female Nidoran
4. Catch a female Nidoran -- have its counterpart, the male Nidoran
