One user even formed a conspiracy theory. According to @Merennulli, someone from the Niantic Labs is clearly working with Team Rocket for their heist.

For many Pokémon fans and Trainers, though, this storage update is just in time for the upcoming Community Day this December. Since Niantic Labs recently announced that they are releasing all exclusive moves and species featured throughout the year, having additional storage means Trainers can stock up on shinies and more.

How to Enjoy the Latest Pokémon GO Update

Users can easily download the Pokémon GO update through Google Play or the App Store. The update is free, but you'll have to shell out 200 PokéCoins to unlock 50 additional spaces. The game allows you to earn 50 coins a day, so you'll have four days to stock up on enough PokéCoins to increase your storage by 50.

If you are like most Trainers who plan to catch 'em all at the Community Day this December, we suggest you unlock as many storage spaces as you can. It's absolutely a great way to end the year!

More Community Day Updates

Community Days are part of Niantic Labs' series of real-life gatherings of players. Held monthly, it draws worldwide players together to capture certain or rare Pokémon species in large numbers, earn in-game bonuses, and take advantage of exclusive moves.

This December, the team behind the hit augmented reality (AR) game is holding its last event to wrap up its Community Days 2019 series. Step outside and discover Pokémon in the real world with fellow Trainers in your local area.

This will be a two-day event with lots of surprises for fans and Trainers, including the chance to catch double Stardust and XP from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. local time on both dates. Players may also enjoy increased spawns and sightings of the featured Pokémon Monsters from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. local time on both dates.

To get more players out there raiding and catching, Niantic Labs will also release all exclusive moves and species that have appeared throughout the year. Sounds like a GOod deal, right? Ready your gadgets and gather the gang for a weekend of community fun!
