Tesla, a world-class American Automotive and Energy Company owned by the ever-popular Elon Musk, recently revealed on Thursday its newest electric pick-up truck in its grand reveal at Tesla's Design Studio in Hawthorne, California.

This sought-after vehicle was long awaited by many of its fans since Musk introduced its production. However, the reactions of the masses seemed to be unexpected by the company, and here's why.

Introducing Tesla's Cybertruck

Imagine a pick-up truck that looks like a bat-mobile that was used by Terminator and Mad Max—that is how we can describe Tesla's Cybertruck. From the name itself 'cyber,' this vehicle responds to the futuristic demand for metal cars that have an edgy shape on its exterior and uncomfortable interior.

Although Cybertruck was already at the peak of the trending world in social media after its big reveal, what's more attention grabbing is not just the design of the pick-up, but on what happened during its revelation.

Elon Musk's Failed or Grand Revelation?

During the huge reveal of Tesla's newest cybertruck, the world was not the same anymore. Elon Musk opened the program with great enthusiasm as the cybertruck wheeled inside the stage along with fire and popping lights—that looks like a boxing fight for cars.

Though the introduction was strong, the ending seemed to be taken out of control.

Tesla brags the specifications and abilities of the Cybertruck, which they described as better in hauling and towing compared to Ford F-150, and even much better sports cars compared to Porsche 911. This huge claim, however, seemed to be taken too boastful by the audiences, especially after the failed test on its 'bullet-proof' armored glass.

Franz von Holzhaussen, Tesla's chief designer, started the demonstration by hitting its front driver door with a sledgehammer—interestingly, no damage had been done after this. However, once Holzhaussen tested the durability of the Cybertruck's windows—the plan of proving its 'super-strong' ability went flop. The windows were damaged after Holzhaussen threw a huge ball inside the car.

"We'll fix it in post," Musk promised after cursing at the mishap.

Though it did not go through, as explained by Musk, its effect on its future customers and the Tesla itself seemed to pass through in a big-time amount.

Elon Musk's Net Worth Plunges Down

According to Forbes, Tesla's share price plummeted down to 6%. But still, Musk is confident to say that they are not looking for many customers to avail of the said vehicle. He believed that only a few will be interested in purchasing the pick-up, which costs $39,900, but the effect of the vehicle on the market—that's what exciting, after the said event. This also means that Musk's net worth plunges by $768 million on the same day of the failed test.

"You know, I don't know if a lot of people will buy this pickup truck or not, but I don't care. If there's only a small number of people that like that truck, I guess we'll make a more conventional truck in the future," said Musk.
