Fans of Rainbow Six Siege and Money Heist (also known as La Casa de Papel in some regions) can enjoy both of these gems as Ubisoft partnered with Netflix for this special, limited event that is currently happening in the game.
The Money Heist Event
The crossover between Rainbow Six Siege and Money Heist enables players to get to wear the infamous red suit and the Salvador Dali mask--worn by the main characters of the Netflix series--as either Hibana or Vigil.
The Rainbow Six Siege event will be held on the Bank map, as noted by VG247, and during the returning mode, Hostage, wherein Attackers and Defenders have to fight over the Hostage.
It coincides with Money Heist's story, where a group of crooks is recruited by The Professor to carry out an ambitious, but elaborate heist on The Royal Mint of Spain.
Bundles Available
There will be a total of eight new items that will be sold during the event, including the uniform, weapon skins, headgear, and charms, with two bundles available--one for Hibana and one for Vigil.
According to GameSpot, Hibana's Heist bundle costs 1680 R6 credits, and will include the following:
Red Jumpsuit
Regal Mint weapon skin for TYPE-89
Emboldened Headgear
Tokyo charm
Meanwhile, Vigil's Accomplice bundle will also have the same price, but will include the following:
Red Jumpsuit
Fresh Paper weapon skin for K1A
Nameless Headgear
The Surrealist charm
The event is now live and will only run until Monday, Nov. 25.
This limited-time event is rather uneventful, especially when compared to previous ones launched by Ubisoft--but it's still an excellent experience for players who are obsessed with the Spanish Netflix series and awaiting its fourth season.
Free Weekend for New Players
Meanwhile, those who haven't yet purchased a copy of Rainbow Six Siege can try the game out for free on PlayStation 4, Xbox, and on PC this weekend, which already started yesterday, Nov. 21, and free until Nov. 25.
The free weekend comes ahead of the arrival of the Operation Shifting Tides.
That said, fans who are expecting the Operation Shifting Tides operators during the free weekend will have to wait, and most likely get their own copies of Rainbow Six Siege to try it out, even when the artworks are already out on the game's official site.
Nonetheless, Dot Esports noted that everything else would be available for the new players, including the Money Heist bundles.
Rainbow Six Siege is also on sale during the weekend, with fans being able to save up to 70%, depending on the edition.
