Bring Back the Retro Nintendo Life with a NES Controller-Inspired Wireless Mouse

Have you been playing Nintendo since it started more than 30 years ago? Then, you will surely love the new mouse designed to look like a Nintendo's original Entertainment System (NES) controller. This computer accessory is styled to look almost the same as your favorite online game's controller when you first touched it to play the game. The person behind this retro Nintendo controller-looking mouse called N30, is Daniel Jansson, a Swedish designer who also appears on YouTube as Switch & Lever. He came up with the idea a couple of years ago.

What seemed to be just a dream then of turning the NES controller into a themed mouse has now come to fruition. Accessory maker 8BitDo helped in making the N30 wireless mouse possible, and in fact, it is now available for purchase. Another good news aside from the controller-looking mouse's availability now is that it doesn't cost much. A retro Nintendo aficionado can buy the mouse for just $24.99. This Nintendo-inspired mouse will soon be available on Amazon in both the United States and United Kingdom markets.

Feature-Filled Mouse

The N30 is a uniquely designed wireless mouse in retro style with a twist of modern ideas. You only need a piece of AA battery to power it up for up to 120 hours of cordless use via the 2.4GHz wireless technology. More so, this NES-controller lookalike boasts a great 10-meter range, a light 71-gram weight, and 1000 DPI, making it an excellently performing computer gadget.

Undoubtedly a unique design and creation, this NES mouse does not feature the usual scroll wheel. However, it has a "touch-sensitive" in place, guaranteeing that the user can still scroll up and down, as normal as possible. More so, the D-pad you'll find on the side lets you carry out other actions as you do with any other mouse-like page up and down, forward and back.

The Design's Inspiration

NES is now 34 years old. In other words, it can also be called a Millennial. And, since the console was launched in North America, fall of 1985, its style, a typical boxy shape, has inspired the so-called nerds everywhere. Impressively, the designer of this mouse is famous for its high-end gaming peripherals and controllers. A mouse is not completely out of 8BitDo's wheelhouse, although for some, it's a bit odd.

As mentioned, the NES controller-looking mouse features "a 3D touch panel the D-pad and the scrolling buttons on the side," used for navigating websites, just as how a gamer would move Mario in the all-time favorite Super Mario Bros. game. Undeniably, working at the office with this mouse is sure to bring you back to memory lane when you played your favorite Nintendo games when it started.
