Nintendo fans can now take advantage of the surprise Android update that makes Switch compatible with different devices. Users of Android phones and tablets have been treated to a surprise update, bringing Nintendo Switch support to the OS. Video game controller support has continuously been a priority for both Apple and Google in recent updates of their operating systems.
The surprise update means that users of iOS and Android can play tablet and smartphone games with Xbox One pad, and the PS4 Dualshock controller. Recent reports have it that gamepad support has also been extended to the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller. In an article posted online, it was mentioned that according to Android Police, "Nintendo Switch Pro Controller support was added following Android 10 update.
Pairing the Switch Controller with an Upgraded Android Device
It is a significant improvement in support of Joy-Con, which the site unfavorably compared to touch controls. To partner the Switch controller with the upgraded Android gadget simply has it disconnected from the Switch and utilize the button by the charging port to partner it with the tablet or phone. It is a boost or an improvement for Switch owners who opt to play quality games using their Android device.
In terms of updates, Nintendo just recently launched a big patch for "Super Smash Bros Ultimate Version 6.0" on Switch which makes a variation of fighter adjustments in time for the Terry Bogard release. In addition, the update allows the players as well to set Battle Arenas to the public that lets them fight against random opponents beyond the Quick Play. What makes the surprise Android update exciting is that rules can also be changed easily, following each bout so that no more arenas need to be remade.
