The Epic Games issue involving FaZe professional Fortnite gamer Jarvis and the permanent ban he's facing is not yet over, with popular Fortnite streamer Ninja sharing his thoughts and saying that the punishment was harsh for the teen.
Ninja Shares his Opinions
Tyler Blevins, also known as "Ninja," said that the young Fortnite gamer was "stupid kid making a stupid decision," and that the permanent ban felt "just silly."
According to a report by GameSpot, Ninja has also said that content creators should be handled differently by Epic Games compared to regular players when it comes to giving punishments, further claiming that it's different for content creators who get their living off of playing Fortnite and has millions of followers and subscribers.
He then said that if a regular player was banned, "nothing happens."
Ninja goes on to say that it's a different situation when a content creator is banned from the game where his world revolves around, compared to someone who has no social media and YouTube account that can simply make another account and continue on cheating and hacking Fortnite as if nothing has happened.
A Lesser Punishment
However, the streamer believes that Jarvis should get away from cheating, but that his punishment is reduced from a permanent lifetime ban to "three to six months."
Many had called out Epic Games when they issued the punishment, especially when the 17-year-old gamer was using aimbots during a recreational game, and especially after the two-week ban of cheaters that still made their way to the Fortnite World Cup.
The Fortnite Bots
Besides the Epic Games and Jarvis issue, Ninja has also spoken about the Fortnite bots that were brought into Chapter 2 by the developers.
These AI players were used to fill out the matches, implementing a new system when matchmaking that would be based on the skills of the player, as per Esports.net.
They were first thought to only appear in beginner's games; however, one found its way on a match with Ninja on it and distracting everyone.

The bot got some severe damage from Ninja and got everybody's composure back, but the streamer is firm on his opinions about these bots and said that they do not belong in the high-level games.
Indeed, the bots merely complicated things with their specific patterns, random covers, and even poor defending skills that could eventually cause a deeper problem with the game's matchmaking and for gamers who actually want to practice their skills.
