What's New with 'Fire Emblem: Three Houses'? Here's the Changes Brought by Update 1.10 for Switch

Fire Emblem: Three Houses Switch players are in luck as a new update has been rolled out, including some free new stuff, as well as additional exclusive new items, character, and paid content for those who own the Expansion Pass.

What did the update bring?

The update brought new things, but also included bug fixes, according to WCCFTech, who has listed the complete patch notes for the game.

Among the free new changes many are excited about is that the update made Jeritza recruitable, but only if you follow the Black Eagles/Crimson Flower path, and the addition of the option that allows you to set the characters' appearance on the battlefield (which was only possible around the Monastery, previously).

But perhaps the best change of all is the massive bump on the save slots from only five to 25 available slots once you've downloaded the latest patch, as noted by Eurogamer.

Things are even more exciting for those who own the Fire Emblem: Three Houses Expansion Pass, as the update, is delivering them the third wave of paid content ever since the game was released during this Summer.

Anna the Merchant

According to Polygon, Anna the Merchant is also a recruitable character now, after recurrently appearing in Fire Emblem titles, and became a fan favorite.

Although she does not have any support conversations, Anna does come with a paralogue story mission, and that you can only recruit her when you finish a special task that comes with the latest update.

Additionally, there is a new sauna activity at the Monastery where you can "add steam" or balance the heat bar.

Animal lovers will also love the new update as it allows the characters to "interact" with the animals in Fire Emblem: Three Houses, however it still unclear whether you can start petting these animals, but it does seem like you can give them "gifts."

IGN has also reported that maid butler attires are now available, and it shouldn't surprise players to find an army of students in a maid or butler uniform.

The last wave is coming...

This update is only a third of four promised paid content, with the next and final wave coming on April 30, 2020, that will include new playable characters, new story content, new locations, and more.

If you're playing Fire Emblem: Three Houses, it's essential to know that all four promised DLCs are part of the Expansion Pass, which is available for $25, and none of these DLCs can be purchased individually.
