Rockstar Games' Red Dead Redemption 2 is available on PS4 and Xbox, plus it had also been released on PC earlier this week—but before they did, the team behind RDR2 rolled out a new patch for PS4 and Xbox users.
Update 1.14 Patch Notes
For those who haven't opened their consoles yet, the update 1.14 was released a day before the game's release on PC, and that you are required to download it before you can proceed to resume your game as Daily Star noted.
But, what exactly does the latest patch do?
The developers have also published a patch note for the latest update, and those who are expecting something grand as a way to celebrate Red Dead Redemption 2's PC launch might get disappointed.
The patch note was very brief and only said that update 1.14 was for "various stability fixes."
Apart from that, there is no other information.
Red Dead Redemption 2 PC Release
Since the PS4 and Xbox versions are getting stability fixes, fans of the game are also hoping it would happen soon for the PC version, as the release was not as smooth as was expected, with various players reporting several issues such as not being able to get past the loading screen.
However, Rockstar Games has already provided some helpful tips that could fix Red Dead Redemption 2 crashes on PC, such as updating the graphics drivers, according to the developer's support page.
Rockstar Games has also sent a new update on Nov. 5 for the PC version of RDR2, and the patch note explained what it does—fix several problems with the launch, such as the preload decryption stuck up and not finishing, as well as the "exited unexpectedly" error that comes out when players are trying to launch the game on their computers.
Red Dead Online Latest Update
Besides Red Dead Redemption 2, Red Dead Online also got a new update that brings several great news for players.
The new update includes the arrival of a new bounty for the legendary Etta Doyle, who is a well-known stagecoach and train robber. Plus, those who update and log in on the game before Nov. 11 will get RDO$100 quickly, along with a free Treasure Map.
There are also a bunch of new emotes available from the Rawson & Co. Catalogue: Applause, Wheeler, Hush Your Mouth, Thumbs Down, and the Gentle Wave, which is free this week for players Club Rank 50 and up.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is available on PC via Epic Games store and Rockstar Games' launcher.
