Black Friday is almost around the corner.

The shopping holiday happens on Nov. 29, the Friday following Thanksgiving Day. People usually regard it as the start of the Christmas shopping season. To encourage people to shop, retailers offer deep discounts, making it one of the most profitable days of the year.

Despite its positive effect on the economy, Black Friday got its name from the heavy and disruptive pedestrian and vehicular traffic that would occur on this day. Some people would even camp out of stores to secure their desired items.

However, major retailers like Walmart, Target, Best Buy, and Sam's Club start serving up awesome deals even before the holiday itself; so getting the best deals does not have to be tiresome and hassling. Just be in the know. Here are some of the latest updates on the Black Friday Sales.

Walmart

Walmart is yet to release its ad scans and the opening time of its stores. However, the Early Deals Drop event they organized already kicked off last Oct. 25. Shoppers can conveniently get a head start on their holiday shopping with huge discounts on toys, gaming, home goods, and electronics. Here are some of the promising deals they offer. Last year, they opened their doors at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving night, but the online sales started almost a week ahead.

Target

There is no announcement yet on the start of Target's in-store Black Friday sales. Traditionally, Target starts its Black Friday sale at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving, closing, and then reopening at 6 a.m. for Black Friday shoppers. We can assume that 2019 will not be an exception. They have not released their ad scans yet, but we can expect them along with a pre-Black Friday sale about a week before the shopping holiday. Here are some of the items to expect from Target's Black Friday 2019 sale.

Best Buy

Similarly, Best Buy is yet to publish details on their stores' opening times for Black Friday sale. However, they customarily open at 5 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, then close doors at 1 a.m. on the morning of Black Friday. They reopen their doors at 8 a.m. to accommodate more shoppers. Online deals can be expected on Thanksgiving week. Based on Best Buy's biggest deals last year, there may be top-tier discounts on smartphones, TV, and consoles.

Sam's Club

In-store Black Friday sale starts at 7 a.m. for Sam's Club. However, members of Sam's Club do not have to wait until the 29th of November, as they will be hosting a pre-Black Friday sale on Nov. 9, Saturday. Stores will open at 7 a.m., but the online deals will start at midnight. Browse through some of the most exciting deals they have to offer here.

Stay Informed

To maximize your shopping budget, stay on the lookout for events leading up to the Black Friday sale. In the coming days, the major retailers will release the dates and times of their sale start, along with their ad scans. So, keeping an eye out for these announcements will help.
