The Gigantamax forms of select Pokémon in Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield have been revealed.

Pokémon such as Eevee, Charizard, and Butterfree were featured in the trailer (posted below). Notably, though, a big, fat Pikachu and a really, really long Meowth are in the mix, which proves that Nintendo and The Pokémon Company are memeing it up a bit — ehem, longcat.

They Might Be Giant-Sized Pokémon

In a video uploaded to YouTube, a couple of Pokémon and their Gigantamax forms were shown off, as well as their new moves.

At that, here's a breakdown of their transformations and moves:

• Gigantamax Pikachu gets G-Max Volt Crash that paralyzes all opponents.

• Gigantamax Eevee gets G-Max Cuddle that infatuates opponents of the opposite gender.

• Gigantamax Charizard gets G-Max Wildfire that causes all non-Fire type Pokémon to take damage for four turns.

• Gigantamax Butterfree gets G-Max Befuddle that causes Poison, Paralysis, or Asleep status.

• Gigantamax Meowth gets G-Max Gold Rush that confuses all opponents and gives an in-game cash bonus.

How To Unlock The Gigantamax Forms

The trailer revealed how to get the Gigantamax variants of a few Pokémon as well, namely Pikachu, Eevee, and Meowth.

For Pikachu, players will need to use play records from Pokémon: Let's Go Pikachu! The same goes for Eevee, but needless to say, players need play record from Pokémon: Let's Go Eevee! Meanwhile, the elongated Meowth is available as an exclusive early purchase bonus and will be up for grabs until Jan. 15.

Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield are set to be available for the Nintendo Switch on Nov. 15 across the globe. The games are already up for preorder as well at retailers such as Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, and Walmart for $59.99.
