Some iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max models might not ship out on time.
Apple just announced a trio of new iPhones at its September event, and it promised they would start arriving at buyers' doorsteps on Sept. 20, which is also when they'll hit the shelves. However, certain configurations of the smartphones are labeled with estimated shipping times later than the promised date on Apple.com. Some have even been pushed back to October.
iPhone 11 Availability
As spotted by Business Insider, delivery dates began getting delayed only hours after the iPhones went up for preorder. According to the news outlet, even supplies of brick-and-mortar Apple stores aren't keeping up with the preorders.
On Apple's website, for example, an unlocked 512 GB iPhone 11 Pro Max in Space Gray is slated to be delivered between Oct. 2 and 7, while an unlocked 512 GB iPhone 11 Pro in Space Gray is expected between Oct. 7 and 14.
Those who are eyeing the entry-level model are in luck, though. An unlocked 256 GB iPhone 11 in White is still on schedule. However, the Green and Purple variants, for instance, have varying shipping dates, with the former between Oct. 7 and 14 and the latter between Sept. 30 and Oct. 2. By the same token, this might be an indicator of which color options are the most popular among users.
Of course, these dates listed here are bound to fluctuate depending on the preorders still coming in and area. Those who have already secured theirs will likely get their new iPhone on launch day, though.
