It hasn't been long since the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro rolled out, and now the word in town is they're going to be followed by another OnePlus smartphone in October.
It's unclear what it's going to be called, but the consensus is either OnePlus 7T or OnePlus 7T Pro. Either way, that's not set in stone, and the company could even go with an entirely different name.
OnePlus 7T Rumored Launch Date
The notable tipster Max J., who has a proven track record when it comes to leaks and such, posted on Twitter, outlining the launch dates of the next-in-line OnePlus handset. According to him, it's going to debut on Sept. 26 in India and Oct. 10 in the United States and Europe and go on sale on Oct. 15.
It's worth noting that Max J. didn't exactly call it OnePlus 7T or OnePlus 7T Pro. He only captioned the tweet with a "OnePlus." The smartphone shown on it is also just a concept image.
Giving a bit more credibility to the rumored launch dates, the OnePlus 6T was unveiled on Oct. 30 and became available on Nov. 1. Those dates are pretty close to the ones mentioned by the leak, which are just a tad earlier.
Alleged OnePlus 7T Pro Photos
Back in early August, alleged photos of the OnePlus 7T Pro made the rounds online, revealing that it won't be too different from the OnePlus 7 Pro in terms of design. Around that time, Max J. also said that OnePlus is indeed working on the next OnePlus T version.
Not much is known about the OnePlus 7T, OnePlus 7T Pro, or whatever it's going to be called, but the smartphone maker is expected to release a 5G-capable device soon.
Of course, all of these don't really mean much, since they're just rumors and leaks, after all. Still, they do paint a picture of what OnePlus may have up its sleeve.
