The Asus ZenFone 6 is now up for grabs in the United States.
For the uninitiated, the smartphone stands out from the current brood not only because of its flagship level specs but also because of its flip camera and notchless display.
ZenFone 6 Hits The Shelves
Prices start at $499.99, and that's for the model with 64 GB of built-in storage. If that's not enough space, then there's the 128 GB variant at $549.99 and the 256 GB model.
The ZenFone 6 is available from the Asus Store, Amazon, B&H, and Mobile Advance.
Specs And Features
Under the hood, it's more or less like any other flagships around. It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 paired with 6 GB of RAM for the 64 GB and 128 GB models and 8 GB of RAM for the 256 GB model, all of which have a microSD card slot that supports up to 2 TB. Speaking of which, it can work with two SIM cards in addition to the microSD card, meaning it's not a hybrid or anything like that.
It sports a 6.4-inch FHD+ display (2,340 x 1,080), which is nearly bezel-less and, as noted, notchless, without a teardrop, hole-punch cutout, or anything along those lines. As mentioned earlier, it has a flip camera, packing two sensors: a 48-megapixel wide lens and a 13-megapixel ultrawide lens.
It runs on Android 9 Pie with a ZenUI 6 layer from the get-go, and it's powered by a 5,000 mAh battery to keep the lights on for hours, supporting Quick Charge 4.0 with a power delivery of 18W.
Regarding ports, it has a USB Type-C and a headphone jack, which is becoming a rarity on smartphones nowadays. It also has two speakers and two microphones. On the side, it has a customizable physical Smart Key that users can set a function to.
The ZenFone 6 comes in two colors: Midnight Black and Twilight Silver.
