Planet X, the hypothesized ninth planet hiding in the fringes of the solar system, will bring global cataclysm, according to a conspiracy theorist.
Gordon James Gianninoto, a doomsday preacher, said that Nibiru will suddenly appear, flip the Earth's magnetic poles, and unleash a series of natural disasters such as earthquakes, volcanoes, and tsunamis. Nibiru, according to Gianninoto, will herald the end of the world and it will happen soon.
What Will Happen When Planet X Appears
Gianninoto made the revelations while speaking live on the Coast to Coast AM radio. He claims that for Planet X to trigger the apocalypse, it does not have to make a close approach to Earth. Its strong gravitational pull will be enough to cause havoc around the world.
"What's gonna happen at first is we're going to have increasing earthquakes, volcanoes, tidal surges, bigger storms," said the preacher. "We're going to have all kinds of things like that and the pace is going to pick up to the point where the governments cannot rescue anybody. You are on your own and you're going to see that happen."
He adds that about 90 percent of the human population will be wiped out within only an hour. He warns that there are only 49 days before the poles shift and when that happens, the seas will rise to up to 213 meters "minimum."
"Right before, when finally Planet X moves far enough away from the Sun that everyone on Earth looks up and goes 'oh my god, how could it have gotten there and they never told us?" He adds. "Who's been lying to us?"
The End Is Nigh?
Planet X, a planet that will cause the destruction of all life on Earth, has long been the subject of science fiction and conspiracy theories. This is not the first time someone has claimed that the world is ending when Nibiru, which is said to be larger than Earth, appears. Often, doomsday sayers claim that it will appear without warning.
Conspiracy theorists also cannot offer proof that Planet X exists or that it is headed to an encounter with Earth.
NASA has repeatedly dismissed the stories about Nibiru and the end of the world. A similar theory went around in 2003 and then in 2012, but Planet X still has not appeared to wipe out all life on Earth.
NASA explained that if a planet is on a path to collision with Earth, scientists would have been monitoring it for at least the past decade. Simply put, a large planet that will cause the apocalypse is unlikely to suddenly appear in the sky without anyone noticing and if there is far more immediate threat to life on Earth right now than Planet X,
