Nikon Z7 And Z6 Full-Frame Mirrorless Cameras Unveiled: Your Move, Sony

In response to Sony's full-frame cameras, Nikon has launched its full-frame mirrorless cameras known as Nikon Z7 and Z6.

Together with the full-frame mirrorless cameras, Nikon also released the NIKKOR Z lenses, which has a new larger diameter mount to adapt to the next generation of ultimate optical performance. Nikon's latest models are expected to go head-to-head against Sony's $3,000 full-frame A7R III and $2,000 A7III cameras.

According to Nikon, the Z mount system is composed of mirrorless cameras and compatible NIKKOR Z lenses and accessories. They were created based on the company's pursuit of new dimension and optical performance.

The Z mount system is highlighted by a new larger diameter mount, which allows it to accommodate new lens design. Also, the Z mount system will offer different high-performance lenses. The mount adapter also allows photographers to choose and use the NIKKOR Z lenses ideal for their work.
