Samsung Galaxy Note 9 With 512 GB Internal Storage Confirmed, But Here's The Catch

Samsung will be rolling out a version of the upcoming Galaxy Note 9 with internal storage of 512 GB, as confirmed by some brochures, but there will be a catch.

The Galaxy Note 9 has been filling up the rumor mill, as Samsung fans look forward to the company's next flagship smartphone. While the Galaxy Note 9 512 GB version rumor has now been confirmed, there are still many more details about the smartphone that remains unclear.

Galaxy Note 9 512 GB Version Confirmed: Here's The Catch

Samsung will launch a version of the Galaxy Note 9 with a whopping 512 GB of internal storage, despite a lesser need for such a feature with the option to use microSD cards for additional space.

The Galaxy Note 9 variant was spotted in brochures from South Korea. There is no need for translations, as it is easy to see "512G" as an option for the Galaxy Note. One of the brochures also confirmed that the models will be 64 GB, 256 GB, and 512 GB.

The Galaxy Note 9 will also be offering a microSD card slot, which makes the massive internal storage a bit redundant. However, in this age, some users will need all the space that they can get. In addition, data stored in core flash storage will result in much faster performance, compared to data stored in microSD cards.

Prolific leaker Ice Universe confirmed the truth behind a 512 GB Galaxy Note 9, but also revealed the catch. Sorry, Samsung fans in the United States: the 512 GB model of the smartphone will only be available in South Korea and China.

There remains the possibility that Samsung will change its mind and sell the 512 GB Galaxy Note 9 in the United States. Fans might not have to wait long to find out.

Galaxy Note 9 Rumors

The 512 GB Galaxy Note 9 was tipped alongside 8 GB of RAM in May, after rumors that Samsung will not be able to include the in-display fingerprint sensor in the upcoming smartphone. Instead, the Galaxy Note 9 will reportedly come with the new and improved Bixby 2.0.

Samsung might not be making its fans wait too long for the Galaxy Note 9. A Bloomberg report claimed that Samsung will announce the smartphone on Aug. 9, with the Galaxy Note 9 release date planned before the end of August. If this is true, users looking forward to the next flagship Samsung smartphone will soon find out everything there is to know about it.
