Did NASA Curiosity Rover See An Alien On Mars? Blurred Figure In Photo Stirs Controversy

Photos taken by the NASA Curiosity rover may have confirmed the existence of aliens on Mars, according to controversial YouTube channel Secureteam10.

NASA recently revealed that Curiosity discovered ancient organic matter in soil samples taken on the Red Planet. The images that the rover took, however, may be proof that not only did alien life exist on Mars, but also that life is still present on its surface.

Curiosity Images Allegedly Show Aliens On Mars

NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory recently released images taken by the Curiosity rover on Sol 2080, which is June 13 on the Earth calendar. The pictures look mostly like what people would expect, but they apparently hold clues that there are aliens on Mars.

In a new YouTube video uploaded by Secureteam10, the people behind the controversial channel claimed that NASA accidentally released proof that there is life on Mars through the Curiosity images.

Tyler Glockner, the narrator of the Secureteam10 video, claimed that NASA may have "slipped up" and released evidence of life on Mars to the general public. The video then shows the images that allegedly show aliens on the Red Planet.

The pictures show a blurred object on the surface of Mars. Glockner said that the "strange blur" is caused by "an object moving extremely quickly," similar to a running animal.

As further proof, Glockner points to the fact that the blur was not present in some images taken on the same area, which meant that it was not some sand or a foreign object on the lens of Curiosity's camera.

"Whatever this is, it's down there on the sand, on the ground," Glockner said.

The Secureteam10 video has been seen over 300,000 times, with comments coming from both believers and non-believers. For those who remain skeptical of the alleged proof of aliens on Mars, suggested explanations for the blurred object include a reflection from the rover and a small dust storm.

The Search For Proof Of Life On Mars

The Curiosity rover has greatly contributed to the search for life on Mars, through both official means with its discovery of ancient organic matter and unofficial means through the pictures featured in the Secureteam10 video. However, it is not the only rover that is investigating the Red Planet.

Meanwhile, the Opportunity rover is fighting to stay active amid a massive Mars dust storm that is bigger than North America. The dust storm has blocked the sun, preventing the rover from charging its solar-powered batteries and causing to it to fall silent. NASA is still unsure whether Opportunity will be able to wake back up, or if it is lost forever.
