The Microsoft E3 2018 sale, which will kick off on June 7, will feature the first-ever Xbox One X discount, alongside special prices for Xbox One consoles, accessories, and games.

Gamers are excited for E3 2018, which will run from June 12 to June 14 in Los Angeles, California. Microsoft promised its "biggest showing ever" for the annual event, raising questions on whether this will finally be the year that the Xbox One will shine.

Microsoft E3 2018 Xbox One Sale

Microsoft announced the Biggest Xbox Sale of the Year through an official Xbox Wire post, headlined by the first-ever discount for the Xbox One X. The price of "the world's most powerful console" will drop by $50, to $449.99 from $499.99.

In fact, all Xbox One models will be receiving $50 discounts in the sale period. The 500 GB Xbox One S will be sold for only $199, while the 1 TB Xbox One S bundles will be sold for only $249.

Microsoft will also be offering one-month subscriptions to Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass for only $1, along with $10 discounts for Xbox controllers. Gamers will also be able to customize their own controller from over a billion color combinations with Xbox Design Lab controllers, which will start at a new low price of $69.99.

The Microsoft E3 2018 sale will also be offering discounted Xbox One games, with price reductions of up to 75 percent on over 300 titles that will be sold for as low as $19.99. This includes first-time discounts on new titles such as PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, Monster Hunter: World, and Sea of Thieves.

The Biggest Xbox Sale of the Year will start on June 7 at Xbox.com, the Microsoft Store, and participating retailers. The sale will run until June 23, well after E3 2018, so gamers will have the chance to think about what Microsoft will unveil at the annual video game event.

Xbox One At E3 2018

A leak revealed Microsoft's Xbox One accessibility controller ahead of E3 2018. There are also recent rumors that we will soon see Google Assistant and Amazon's Alexa on Xbox One consoles, but it remains to be seen whether the feature will show up at the upcoming event.

The E3 2018 floor plan at the Los Angeles Convention Center has also been unveiled, but Microsoft is nowhere to be seen. This is because Microsoft will be moving its E3 2018 presence across the street at the Microsoft Theater, hinting that the company does indeed have big plans for the Xbox One.
