Rockstar Games continues to show support for GTA V as it hints at upcoming online content. The game's next major update reportedly includes nightclubs and more.
Keeping Fans Happy
The gaming industry knows that Red Dead Redemption 2 is due to come out in the next couple of months. It is considered to be the publisher's most anticipated title after the release of Grand Theft Auto V.
Most people expect that the developers have focused their efforts on the open-world western title, but it does not appear to be the case. According to sources, rumors suggest that the next major DLC for the online game mode will include a new kind of business that players can purchase and operate.
Loving The Night Life
Yan2295, a renowned leaker for everything GTA V, claims that nightclubs are on the way. Previous DLC updates for the game introduced new ways for players to earn in-game money.
Similar to Bunkers and Hangars, the nightclubs will require players to upgrade and provide maintenance to entice customers. It is supposedly scheduled to come out sometime next month.
After the update, the in-game map will allegedly show several new properties located across Los Santos. Once users purchase a nightclub, customization options will become available. Drink selection, entertainment, and marketing are all available and can be adjusted according to the players' preference.
Until Rockstar Games confirms all of the included nuances, new missions and game mechanics are presumably onboard. Some sources speculate that it will entail more PVP action wherein gamers struggle to sabotage their rival businesses.
A lot of players believe that the rumors are most likely true as GTA IV also features nightclubs with its The Ballad of Gay Tony DLC. Fans likewise hope that some familiar faces from Liberty City get a chance to visit the downtown Los Santos.
Business Consolidation Update
The same industry insider also claims that his previous report regarding an upcoming business consolidation update is still in the works. It seems to make sense that it will arrive after the nightclub update in order to give players more flexibility to manage all of their commercial interests.
However, fans won't have to wait long to find out whether this rumor is true or not as E3 2018 is just around the corner.
Music-Related Teaser
Unlike the rumored nightclub and business consolidation updates, an official tweet from Rockstar Games hints at additional forthcoming content. The developer has listed Solomun, Dixon, The Black Madonna, and Tales of Us as four electronic music artists.
Last year, GTA V got a new radio station called Frank Ocean. This likely means that new music is slated for the open-world crime game.
