Just when we were about to stop musing on Samsung Galaxy S5 rumors, another upcoming product from the South Korean handset maker has caught our attention.
Samsung's long-rumored 12.2-inch tablet, dubbed Galaxy Note Pro, recently was spotted in the wild, and according to the sources, the tablet will come with the S Pen support.
The sources claim that the tablet will look similar to Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 edition), sporting the volume rocker and power button located on one side and the 3.5 mm headphone port and the SIM tray on the other.
Previously, Samsung's rumored tablet sporting 12.2-inch display was also spotted at the FCC.
According to reports, the tablet is likely to boast a resolution of 2560x1600 pixels, and will be powered by a quad-core 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. The front and rear camera are will feature 2-megapixel and 8-megapixel sensors respectively.
A massive 9500mAh battery is expected to keep the device running smoothly for long hours without needing a recharge.
Meanwhile, another school of rumors has that there are four tablets scheduled to be launched by Samsung. They are Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 (SM-T320/T325), Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 (SM-T520/T525), Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 (SM-P900/P905), and the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite (SM-T110/T111). All of these models, except Tab 3 Lite, will come in Wi-Fi and LTE versions. Galaxy Tab 3 Lite will only be equipped with 3G connectivity and will be priced under $150 range.
The reports suggest that the alleged Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2 tablets are scheduled for mass production by the end of this year and might be unveiled at the upcoming 2014 International CES, which kicks off on January 7, 2014.
