New Sonos Speaker Bundles Will Let You Set Up A Home Sound System At A Discount

Sonos' latest bundle offers are now live on their website, offering discounts of $19 to $99. This time, the bundles include all their products.

Sonos Offering 13 Audio Sets

Those looking to upgrade their home audio set-up can get Sonos bundles at a discount. Previously, sets with a discounted price included only Play:1 and Sonos One speakers, which were great if people were looking to get smart speakers.

The current offerings include 13 bundles consisting of any of Play:5, Sonos One, Playbar, Playbase, and Pro-Ject Essential III Phono turntable, or a combination of these products.

Two Sonos One units are being sold at a bundle price of $379, which nets buyers a $19 discount. A three-unit set has a price of $549, while a four-unit set is sold at $729. Two Play:5 speakers come in the Two Room Pro set priced at $899, which is $99 cheaper than the original price of two units.

A bundle including two Sonos One speakers plus a Playbar comes at a price of $999, while the bundle of two Sonos One speakers plus a Playbase is similarly priced.

Home theater sets start at $1,299. For that price, consumers can get a set of Playbar and a Sub or a Playbase and a Sub. Throwing in two Sonos One units in either set increases the price to $1,649.

Those who want to get a turntable can consider getting a Play:5 as well. As a set, they are priced at $799. Getting two Play:5 units with the turntable costs $1,249 while adding a Sub in addition to two Play:5 speakers and a turntable is priced $1,899.

New Sonos Product Coming Soon

Sonos' bundles come a couple of weeks before a June 6 event in San Francisco, for which they sent out press invites in early May. The invitation included an image of a coffee table with a number of remote controls on top, hinting of a new product.

"You're better than this," the tagline on the invitation reads.

The event could see the announcement of a follow-up to the Playbar or Playbase. Sonos' FCC filing of a home theater smart speaker was made public a few days before Sonos sent out the invites, which could also pertain to a new device instead of a new iteration of an existing product.

According to the documents, the new device will come with an HDMI port and an integrated microphone for voice control. Sonos declined to comment, and so more information cannot be expected until the event.
