Microsoft has unveiled the Xbox Games with Gold for March 2018, headlined by Superhot and Trials of the Blood Dragon for the Xbox One.
Meanwhile, Assassin's Creed Chronicles: India, a free download under Xbox Games with Gold for February 2018, will still be available until March 15. There are also still several days left in the month, so Xbox Live with Gold members have time to download the free games February 2018.
Xbox Games With Gold March 2018: 'Superhot' Leads The Way
Microsoft announced the Xbox Games with Gold for March 2018 through an official Xbox Wire post. The free downloads for the month for Xbox Live Gold subscribers are Trials of the Blood Dragon and Superhot for the Xbox One, and Brave: The Video Game and Quantum Conundrum for the Xbox 360.
Trials of the Blood Dragon for the Xbox One is a bizarre mash-up of the Trials motorcycle platformer series and the stand-alone spinoff of Far Cry 3, Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon. The game offers 30 missions across seven worlds, combining the 2D perspective of the Trials franchise with the retro art direction and combat mechanics of Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon.
Superhot for the Xbox One, meanwhile looks like a simplistic first-person shooter, but it plays more like a puzzle game. The concept of the game is that time only moves when players do. If the player stops moving, enemies and their bullets will drastically slow down. Gamers will have to find the perfect timing for their movements, attacks, and dodges to get through each stage.
For the Xbox 360, Brave: The Video Game plunges players into the popular Disney movie by taking on the role of Merida, who receives assistance from other characters in the film to break a curse. Quantum Conundrum, on the other hand, is a puzzle game that harnesses the characteristics of different dimensions, with a nephew simply looking to save his wild scientist uncle.
Xbox Games With Gold March 2018 Availability
The Xbox 360 titles are also playable on the Xbox One through the Xbox Backward Compatibility program. This means that Xbox One owners will be able to download and play all four games for free.
The games are not all available for the whole month of March, though. Trials of the Blood Dragon may be downloaded from March 1 to March 31, but the availability of Superhot will start on March 16 and end on April 15. Brave: The Video Game will be available from March 1 to March 15, and Quantum Conundrum will be open for downloads from March 16 to March 31.
