Epic Games just revealed what's ahead when hostilities for Season 3 Battle Pass of Fortnite: Battle Royale begins. Seventy-six new items will be up for grabs.
In a new update post, the game studio teased the arrival of new special gliders, outfits, pickaxes, emotes, banners, and more. The breakdown provided totaled to 30 more items compared to the last season, indicating that as the free-to-play game becomes more popular, there'll be more enhancements to come.
In this case, the items to drop are purely cosmetic but will still inspire gameplay excitement. That's because Epic will also unlock items and rewards in stages, meaning access will be determined by game progression in most cases.
"The more you play, the more you unlock," Epic Games said on its announcement.

If time is of the essence, though, the option is available to purchase the Season 3 Battle Pass that Epic said will amount to 950 V-Bucks. In real currency, that would be mere $10, and with the Mission Specialist Outfit thrown in the package, shelling out the cash will not be too hard on the pocket. Of note, this was the same pricing implemented during the past season.
An even faster route is for sale in the form of Battle Bundle that consists of the Battle Pass package plus the first 25 reward tiers. The ticket to this is 2,800 V-Bucks or equivalent to $25 per purchase. If the asking price seems too high, know that V-Bucks in Fortnite can be earned as one pushes further to the gameplay. This suggests that with skill, patience, and tons of time to kill, all the items and rewards are for free.
As clarified by Epic Games, players heading to this direction will use up the same amount of time spent with the Season 2 Battle Pass. Going through the normal process will take around 75 hours at the minimum and up to 150 hours, the actual span of time will be dictated by player's skill.
Also, the company reminded that Season 3 will commence on Feb. 20 or right after Season 2 and in which there will be seven challenges to unlock and loads of rewards to win.
Fortnite Game Update
Meanwhile, game patch 2.5.0 has been applied recently, and this is true for Fortnite in all gaming platforms — PC, PS4, and Xbox One. The step up delivered more challenging (that actually reads, difficult) options in the Save The World mode, among the improvements unpacked.
It was previously hinted that the weapon SMG will be vaulted indefinitely, which indeed happened with the new update. Thankfully, when Epic Games decided to take out the gun, a replacement was provided with a bang — the Impulse Grenade.
