Meizu’s New M6S Phone: Price, Release Date, And Specs

There's been plenty of rumors and a ton of leaked images that have surfaced online showing off on Meizu's new M6S phone. Months after speculation, the Chinese company has officially unveiled its new M6S phone, the latest flagship phone to be added to its lineup of mid-range smartphones.

Here's a list of everything you need to know about Meizu's new M6S phone, including the price, release date, and most importantly, the specs.

Meizu's New M6S Phone Sports A 5.7 Inch Edge-To-Edge Display

As far as specs go, the M6S sports a 5.7.inch display, with HD+ resolution, and an 18:9 aspect ratio. It's also the first phone to get an edge-to-edge display and a fingerprint scanner located on its side.

The phone also comes with 3GB of RAM, with two additional storage options, such as 32GB or 64GB. The M6S phone is decent for taking selfies, as it includes an 8 MP front-facing camera, along with a 16 MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture.

Meizu's New M6S Phone Is Powered By Samsung's Exynos 7872 Chipset

Most phones in Meizu's M Series lineup are powered by Qualcomm's processor, but this new phone is the first to be powered by Samsung's Exynos 7872 chipset, making it stand out from the rest of Meizu's phones. Like most Android phones, there's an SD card slot that supports up to 128GB.

The new phone by Meizu has a 3,000 mAh battery. According to Meizu, the phone should be charged at about 55 percent in half an hour.

M6S Phone Will Ship With Flyme OS 6, Based On Android 7.0 Nougat

There's also a variety of colors to choose from for the M6S: black, blue, gold, and silver. As far as the prices go, Meizu's new M6S costs around $160 for the 32GB of RAM and around $200 for the 64GB. The phone will also ship with Flyme OS 6, which is based on Android 7.0 Nougat.
