Microsoft’s New Xbox Elite Wireless Controller: Leaked Images And Details

During E3 2015, Microsoft announced its original Xbox One Elite Wireless Controller, adding new features that gives gamers more control of how they play video games.

The company is reportedly working on a new Xbox One Elite Wireless Controller as multiple images have leaked online.

Microsoft's New Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Will Have An Adjustable Stick For Thumbsticks

The new Xbox One Elite Wireless Controller will feature a USB-C port, Bluetooth for Windows 10 support, three-stage triggers, three-profile switch, along with an adjustable stick for its thumbsticks, according to the leaked images.

Microsoft filed for a patent on a new design for the second generation of the Xbox One Elite wireless controller. Based on the images we've seen so far, everything seems to match up. So this very well could be the new Xbox One Elite Wireless Controller.

First Xbox One Elite Wireless Controller

Xbox boss Phil Spencer described the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller as "the world's most advanced controller." The company happened to launch the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller the same day Halo 5: Guardians was released, which was on Oct. 27, 2017.

The Xbox One Elite Wireless Controller was praised for being extremely customizable, but it came with a heavy price tag of $150. Though that didn't stop gamers from buying the wireless controller as it flew off the shelves at major retailers including Amazon, Best Buy, and Microsoft's store.

As far as reviews go for Microsoft's Xbox One Elite Wireless Controller, critics have said that the controller was hard to put down, even after using it for a week. Some critics even suggested not to test the Xbox One Elite Wireless Controller because it would be hard to go back to using your regular controller.

Xbox One Elite Wireless Controller Price

If Microsoft manages to put a reasonable price tag on the second generation Xbox One Elite Wireless Controller, say anywhere between $70-$90, most gamers around the world would leave their old controller behind and go ahead and buy it. And if the company targeted all gamers instead specific group of highly competitive gamers, it would make everyone happy.

We're not sure when Microsoft will announce the second version of the new Xbox One Elite Wireless Controller or when it will be released, but we should find out more details a few months ahead of E3 2018, which is in June.
