The GameStop Black Friday 2017 ad is now online, and it features various deals on consoles, accessories, and games.
GameStop deals for Black Friday include discounts for the PlayStation 4 Pro, PlayStation 4 Slim, and Xbox One S, along with an interesting offer that basically gives away the Xbox 360 for free.
GameStop Black Friday 2017: Here Are The Best Deals
All 12 pages of the GameStop Black Friday 2017 ad can be viewed online at BFAds, giving gamers time to plan for their purchases in the annual shopping holiday. The deals will be valid from Nov. 23 to Nov. 26.
For gamers looking to buy consoles, the 1 TB PlayStation 4 Pro will be sold at only $349.99, from the original price of $399.99. Meanwhile, the 1 TB PlayStation 4 Slim will carry a price tag of $199.99, down from the regular price of $299.99, and will even come with a $50 GameStop gift card to bring the total price of the console to only $149.99. GameStop will also sell the PlayStation VR Gran Turismo Sport bundle for only $299.99, from the original price of $399.99.
Gamers who are looking to buy the Xbox One S instead to get the chance to play PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds on a console will be able to buy a 500 GB model for only $189.99, down from the normal price of $279.99. The Nintendo Switch is also featured on the GameStop ad, but at its regular price of $299.99.
The GameStop Black Friday deals do not end with consoles, though, as there will be a lot of recently released games that will be offered at a discount. Among the titles featured in the ad are The Evil Within 2, Wolfenstein II, and Middle-Earth: Shadow of War for $25 from $59.99; NBA 2K18, Madden 18, FIFA 18, and Destiny 2 for $27 from $59.99, though the Destiny 2 discount is only good for Nov. 23 and Nov. 24; Injustice 2 for $14 from $49.99; and Fallout 4 Game of the Year Edition, Overwatch Game of the Year Edition, and PlayStation 4 exclusive Persona 5 for $30 from $59.99.
GameStop To Give Away Xbox 360 For Free
An interesting deal involves pre-owned units of the previous-generation Xbox 360, which will be sold for only $59.99 on Nov. 23 and Nov. 24. However, customers who purchase the console will also receive a mail-in rebate of $59.99, which, once received, will effectively price the console at $0.
The offer likely banks on the huge chance that most customers will actually be too lazy to send the mail-in rebate as well as on the massive inventory of pre-owned Xbox 360 units that GameStop has in stock.
A free console is nothing to scoff at, even if it has been outclassed by the Xbox One. There are a lot of notable titles on the Xbox 360 such as Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption, and the console can even function as a set-top box, as it supports Netflix, Amazon, and Hulu streaming services.
