You either love McDonald's or you hate it, but it's not so serious an issue that a fight would break out over it. Right? Well, not so fast.
That's exactly what happened when Tramaine Hill II allegedly assaulted his pregnant wife with a McDonald's sandwich and was subsequently arrested, according to The Des Moines Register .
According to the report, Hill was woken up by his wife, who had brought him a McChicken sandwich. For whatever reason, Hill then allegedly threw the sandwich back at his wife -- when she tried to leave the room, Hill apparently threw the bun at her a second time before taking out his phone to record a video of the fight. His wife then knocked the phone from his hands (police suspect Hill was recording the video to make his wife seem aggressive) before police arrived on the scene and made their arrest.
Hill's wife was allegedly covered in mayonnaise and had a swollen nose when the officers first arrived at the couple's home. Hill stated that his wife had been the one to assault him, not the other way around - it seems that his story was less than convincing, as Hill now resides in the Polk County Jail.
As of now, there are few details on the case: it can be assumed that Hill will be hit with domestic violence charges at the very least. Of course, with so much of the story still being confirmed, it's hard to take a side...that is, until you get to the part about a man allegedly assaulting his pregnant wife for bringing him a sandwich.
The absolute worst part of it all? Hill said he confronted his wife about the McChicken because "he didn't like them."
With any luck, Hill's stay in the county jail will be a long one.
