Gamers who have their sights set on the Xbox One S should take advantage of a special sale currently offered by Walmart.
Microsoft launched the Xbox One S in August 2016 with a $299 price tag for the 500 GB version. Just over a year later, Walmart is offering the Xbox One S Battlefield 1 bundle, which comes with the 500 GB Xbox One S among many other add-ons, for only $200.
Xbox One S 'Battlefield 1' Bundle For $200
The Xbox One S Battlefield 1 bundle offered by Walmart, endorsed by Major Nelson himself, carries a pre-tax price tag of $200. This means that customers will have to shell out a few extra dollars depending on their location, but the deal is a great one nonetheless.
The bundle comes with the storm gray version of the 500 GB Xbox One S, including a matching controller and a digital copy of the well-reviewed Battlefield 1.
Customers who take advantage of the bundle will also be able to avail a special offer of five free movies plus five more movies for only $5 that can be viewed through the VUDU app on the Xbox One S. The bundle also includes a free one-month EA Access membership, which allows gamers to play upcoming titles by Electronic Arts for a limited time before their release, with more than $400 worth of Electronic Arts titles playable through The Vault.
Walmart is offering free two-day shipping for the Xbox One S Battlefield 1 bundle offer, which has no specified end date. Customers who have been waiting for a great deal to grab the Xbox One S should place their order now, as the offer could end any time.
Xbox One X Coming Soon
Gamers who can wait for a couple of months and can afford a more powerful console could also wait for the arrival of the Xbox One X. Project Scorpio Edition preorders outpaced the preorders for every other version of the Xbox, but the special edition Xbox One X is currently sold out. Preorders for the regular version of the Xbox One X will launch soon, in preparation for the Nov. 7 launch of the highly anticipated console.
For those who are feeling lucky, you can also try to win a custom Xbox One S created by Microsoft in partnership with The Chainsmokers. The special edition console, which features a case that converts sound into a dynamic light show, will be given away to one lucky fan.
