Latest research revealed the best time of the day to engage in activities such as eating, drinking, and even sex. As it turns out, the best time for sex is good news for people who don't mind waking up early.
High Energy Levels In The Morning
Personal opinions on the best time of day to engage in activities such as sex or drinking are naturally purely subjective, but a new research finds that there apparently is a specific optimal time to have sex. By asking 1,000 healthy individuals to report on their own optimal times for engaging in certain activities based on their body clocks, they found the best times for some of mankind's favorite activities.
Best Time For Sex
According to a new research, the best time of the day to have sex is at 7:30 in the morning, at about 45 minutes after waking up. At this time, energy levels are high after waking up from rest, which means both participants have more stamina.
What's more, engaging in sex leads to a rush of endorphins, lowering a person's blood pressure and stress levels, and leaves a person more upbeat throughout the day.
Best Time For A Run
Apparently, the best time to go for a run is just before 7 in the morning. If you're really focused on burning fat, doing your morning cardio on an empty stomach also burns more fat because of the lower levels of glycogen, blood sugar, and insulin as a result of overnight fasting.
Best Time To Work And Relax
Work and relaxation aren't exactly two things that normally go together, but because concentration levels peak about three hours after waking up, it is best to keep the harder tasks for 9:45 a.m. onward, and then rest and relax about an hour after at 10:45 a.m. This is especially important for earlier days of the week when stress levels are higher.
Best And Worst Meal Times
If you're focused on weight loss, the best times for breakfast, lunch, and dinner are 7:15 a.m., 12:15 p.m, and 6:00 p.m. respectively. However, to maximize the weight loss, snack times at 3:30 in the afternoon and 8:15 in the evening should be avoided.
Best Time For A Drink
After work, you may want to relax and unwind, which is perfect because the best time to go for a drink is at 6:10 p.m. This not only relaxes you after a hard day at work, it also gives the liver enough time to recover and relax for about four hours before bedtime.
Best Time For A Workout
After going for a drink, you may want to sweat the stress away, because according to the researchers, 6:30 p.m. seems to be the optimal time for a workout.
Best Time To Go To Bed
Say goodbye to late night shows if you're really focused on getting the most restorative sleep you can get because researchers found that the optimal time to sleep is at 10:10 p.m., with an allowance of 20 minutes for decompressing and 90 minutes of deep, non-REM sleep.
Now, if you're not exactly a morning person, there's no need to worry, because you can simply adjust the time table based on your own sleep patterns. The important thing is to try to have a regular sleep cycle that would have you waking up and going to bed at the same time every day.
"Making small adjustments to your routine can really help you to lose weight, get fitter, be more effective at work and even a better lover," said Forza Supplements managing director Lee Smith.
The survey was done for Forza Supplements, a company whose focus is on weight loss, sports nutrition, well-being, and beauty.
