Much has been said about the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, but now it might finally be clear what it looks like.
Even Blass, a trusted industry tipster who often publishes leaks that end all leaks for good, has just uploaded a render of the Galaxy Note 8. Blass only shared the front panel, but as one can see from the image, Samsung has apparently decided to carry over the Infinity Display to the Galaxy Note line.
What We Learned From The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Render
Three slight bumps appear on the sides of the device, which are most likely the sleep and wake button, volume rockers, and a dedicated Bixby key, as found on the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus. There also appears to be six sensors at the top bezel, not including the earpiece. There's the front-facing camera, iris scanner, and proximity sensor; the others sensors have yet to be identified.
Samsung has already teased the Galaxy Note 8 under vague, mysterious shots of the phone's silhouette, very much like the teasers for the Galaxy S8. It includes the phrase "do bigger things," which might refer to the device's colossal display. The Galaxy Note line, for the record, traditionally sports larger, phablet-like displays. Per Blass's image, it does look huge, with seemingly thinner bezels than the Galaxy S8's already slim ones.
Samsung has been on a roll with pushing the envelope in terms of product design lately. Some may view it as the company's way of compensating for the damning mishap its Galaxy Note 7 caused but the Note 8 will most likely do more than repair the Galaxy Note brand once for all — it stands to be a great phone in general, in spite of the stain of Note 7.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Rumors
Like most smartphones nearing their release date, the Galaxy Note 8 seems practically revealed. An Infinity display seems like a shoo-in, and so is a stylus, because the Galaxy Note always comes with one.
Rumors say the device will come bundled with a Bixby-powered Bluetooth headset, which will directly rival Apple's AirPods. There also might be an Emperor Edition in the works, which comes with 256 GB of onboard storage and 6 GB of RAM.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Unveiling
Samsung will unveil the Galaxy Note 8 on Aug. 23 during an "Unpacked" event in New York City. Expect due coverage when that happens.
