Black Friday is here. Or Black Thursday. Wait, this is Tuesday. Is it "Black Week" now?
Eh, whatever.
Amazon, as part of its never-ending bargains for Christmas shoppers, has a doozy of a sale going on right now. The retailer calls it The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings Media Collection. There are five different bundles available, to be exact, and each one consists of various combinations of The Lord of the Rings trilogy on Blu-ray, the Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor video game for PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, and a boxed set of all three of Tolkien's books, plus The Hobbit.
The prices range from $29.99 to $72.70, with some discounts going as deep as 75-percent off. The most noteworthy deals for gamers are the two bundles that include the movie trilogy and Shadow of Mordor. One is for Xbox One owners, the other for PS4 owners. Both are priced at $54.98, which is $5 off the regular price of the game — with the movies thrown in for free. And all of these prices are available to anyone, not just Amazon Prime members.
If you've been waiting to get your hands on that critically-acclaimed video game, or you've never gotten around to buying The Lord of the Rings on Blu-ray, there's never been a better time. And we advise acting fast because the offer ends today, November 25, at 11:59pm PST.
