May is usually a busy month for film and television, with the roster of blockbuster flicks due to hit theaters this summer, in addition to the upswell of series finales to hit our good old television boxes.
That said, Netflix proves every month that it should not be missed, and you'll want to set aside precious lengths of time for next month's stellar lineup of titles. Some of Netflix's original series will return with their second season in May, in addition to the fifth season of hit political drama House of Cards. Chelsea also returns for her second season, and straight from across the pond, Netflix will bring the fourth season of Sherlock.
There's a laundry list of titles both previously and recently released, in addition to titles from Netflix's original lineup, so there's plenty of content to watch while you cozy up to your couch or bed.
Read on to see what's going to become available on Netflix this coming May.

Speaking of Love, Gaspar Noé's Love is also coming to Netflix next month, and for those of you who've seen Noé's raunchy and electric exploration of lust, sex, and desire, then you're welcome to give it another viewing, if so you wish.
In other Netflix related news, the video streaming service just recently hit a total of 100 million subscribers globally, proving the company's projections were accurate. The figure is a groundbreaking success for the platform, because it does not only spell success for Netflix against its competitors first and foremost, but it also signals this era's preference for the video-streaming platform over traditional cable, broadcast television, and other premium video services.
