The Apple Store is apparently having delay and stock issues when it comes to the iPad Pro. Does this delay mean that a new iPad Pro is ready to be released soon?
Out Of Stock
Prospective buyers of the 12.9-inch iPad Pro have been having a difficult time trying to grab hold of the device, and it seems that they're not the only ones. Checking which Apple retail stores that have the iPad Pro is proving to be fruitless as they, too, look like they're having stock issues.
This is not new however, as interested buyers of the iPad unit in the last few months have been faced with the same problem. If you go online to check the Apple Store, you would see yet another notification that the 12.9-inch iPad Pro won't be available probably until the last weeks of May.
iPad Pro 2 Launching Soon?
These availability delays for the iPad Pro have many questioning whether there's really a stock issue or Apple is simply getting ready to release the iPad Pro 2. Most people are hoping for the latter, but Apple has yet to deliver.
March was an especially electric time for the ones waiting for the new iPad lineup, especially after the Apple Store went down on March 21 for a maintenance shutdown, teasing everyone who visited with a vague, yet exciting message:
"We've got something special in store for you. And we can't wait for you to see it. Please check back soon."
However, the rumors remained to be rumors when the website went back up and the days went by with no new iPad Pro releases. Still, many were expectant, especially since April marks the opening of the Apple Park to employees. After all, what better way to mark the occasion than by launching four new iPads?
As of now, things are pretty quiet in the rumor mill, but the silence and availability issues surrounding the 12.9-inch iPad Pro are being seen as clues about the possible launch of new iPads soon.
iPad Pro 2 Rumored Features
The iPad Pro 2 is expected to feature a 12.9-inch display as well as other size variations, but could possibly come with True Tone color matching, similar with its predecessor. The device is also expected to be powered by an A10X processor, and there's also the possibility of a 3D touch feature.
What's more, the new iPad Pro is also rumored to have a larger internal storage of at least 512 GB, and there is also the possibility of a Touch Bar, a feature currently present in the MacBook Pro.
The 12.9-inch iPad Pro 2 is expected to be released with three other new iPad units, namely the 9.7-inch variant, the 10.5-inch iPad Pro 2, and the iPad mini Pro.
