Thanksgiving means a lot of different things to a lot of different people. For some, it's the celebration of a hugely romanticized relationship between two peoples, while for others, it's merely a stopgap between Halloween and Christmas. For most normal people, however, Thanksgiving serves as a way to honor our family and friends by stuffing our faces with meat, gravy and potatoes before falling asleep in front of a football game.
When it comes to Thanksgiving and animals, most people obviously think of a turkey. After all, it's the biggest dish at the table; eating the dumbest bird in the world for Thanksgiving dinner is a time-honored tradition. On the other hand, an animal that hardly anyone would think of when talking about Thanksgiving is the hamster. It makes sense: you can't eat them, and hamsters aren't known for being involved in diplomatic relations between pilgrims and Native Americans.
Thanks to the folks over at HelloDenizen, that may no longer be the case. As the latest in their surprisingly popular and incredibly cute series of videos, this Thanksgiving special may just reshape the Thanksgiving/hamster dynamic forever...
It's as cute and cuddly as videos get: a bunny, a mouse and a hamster all eating tiny versions of classic Thanksgiving dishes. There's pumpkin pie, cranberry sauce and even a little turkey!
If you're curious about cute little hamsters eating meat, don't worry: the little guys are fine as long as it's the right kind of meat, and turkey is on that list. Plus, hamsters are known for eating food far worse than baked turkey...
Either way, it's easily one of the cutest Thanksgiving specials out there, and once you're done watching that, there are plenty of other videos featuring tiny hamsters eating tiny food, too!
