HBO Promo Gives A Sneak Peek At ‘Game Of Thrones’ Characters’ Season 7 Looks

Winter is coming to HBO in July but Game of Thrones fans can take a peek at how our favorite characters from Westeros look like even before Season 7 begins, and it's all thanks to HBO's "It's What Connects Us" promo videos.

Tech Times reported on April 1 that HBO released the first official Game of Thrones Season 7 teaser and now a different kind of tease has been presented: our favorite characters in their new costumes.

Ice And Fire

We've already seen that Cersei Lannister, Jon Snow, and Daenerys Targaryen all look regal and ready to rule their respective territories - King's Landing, Winterfell, and a mysterious location in Westeros, respectively. In HBO's "It's What Connects Us" promo video where all characters from all HBO original programs either say "Ahh" or "Shh" in their unique ways, the rest of the Game of Thrones cast appear in their very new costumes.

In case you forgot how the three rulers looked like, take a look at the screenshots from the promo video below.

Season 7 New Costumes

As mentioned earlier, the rest of the cast make their appearance in the videos. In the first version of the promo video, fans get to see Jaime Lannister, Daenerys Targaryen (with Drogon, Rhaegal, and Viserion's screams in the background), Tormund Giantsbane, Sansa and Bran Stark, and Jon Snow.

What is striking about their attire is that they all seem ready to go into battle - except for Jaime who seems to have forgotten that his hand was cut off so he still looks shocked. Watch version one below.

The second version of the promo brings back another beloved character from the show and he says "Ahh" in his own unique way.

Version 2 of the "It's What Connects Us" promo features the following Game of Thrones cast: Cersei Lannister, Hodor, Tyrion Lannister, Arya Stark, Sandor Clegane also known as "The Hound," and Daenerys Targaryen who uses her own voice this time. Watch version 2 below.

Last Week Tonight Promo

HBO did not end with two promos leading to the HBO static that plays before any of the original programs. Another video was released on April 7 with John Oliver attempting to explain what the point of the HBO static is. Then the other Game of Thrones characters also showed up. This time, apart from those we have already seen in the first two versions, we see Missandei, Varys, Theon Greyjoy, and Davos Seaworth. Jaime Lannister also finally says "Ahh" but his eyes are still glued to his gold hand prosthetic.

Watch the third promo below.
