Goat Simulator is a strange game. It's a game that started as a joke and became a full-fledged indie title where you play as a goat with a super sticky tongue and goof around in a physics-based playground.
It's strange, quirky and all-around hilarious. It's also about to get a whole lot weirder. A new (and free) expansion coming to the game on Nov. 20 will transform what was once a giant joke into an even bigger one when Goat Simulator becomes an MMO.
Yes, you read that correctly. What was once a single-player physics sandbox game will now have online multiplayer, classes, quests and faction battles. Imagine a fantasy world like that of Skyrim, but with more goats. Then you have an idea of what Goat MMO Simulator looks like. If you (somehow) aren't sold on the game already, the trailer below will do the trick.
Developer Coffee Stain Studios definitely knows how to roll with the punches, and delivers what is both a fantastic and funny trailer while also poking fun at their players and MMOs. None of these words do Goat Simulator justice, though. You're just going to have to witness it with your own eyes, so here is the Goat MMO Simulator trailer in gif form.
This is how game development works right?
So many classes!
Make it rain.
And that, my friends, is what Goat Simulator is all about. The game is currently $9.99 on Steam.
