Japanese-made Bra Changes Color, Oddly Inspired by Disney's 'Frozen' [Video]

The Frozen franchise boasts princessy clothes, toys, shoes, school supplies and other merchandise, but lingerie company Triumph in Japan has taken the Disney movie inspiration to a whole new level that no one would have ever guessed: bras!

And not just any bra, mind you. These Frozen-inpired underwear have the unique ability to change color when the cups come in contact with same electric paper material that it is made of -- like those in the cups of another bra.

The product name for the bra is Close Sister Bra, perhaps an homage to the closeness of the sisters Elsa and Anna in the film?

A video of the color-changing bra shows that the pattern switches from a dark color with tiny blue hearts to white with a snowflake pattern.

Apparently, the bra also comes with padding that can be inserted into the cups to give smaller girls a more generous cup size.

Oddly, the product also comes packaged with two small pink hearts that say in kanji "little sister" and "big sister."

The bra also comes with changeable sparkly straps and a blue mini skirt.

It should be noted that while the bra is inspired by Frozen, it is not an officially licensed product by Disney.

Triumph, the company that made the bra has been in the lingerie business for decades. Every year they come up with a new product to highlight a social event in Japan. This year, the Frozen bra was what they unveiled.

"Triumph is honoring the bonds women form between one another with the Close Sisters Bras. The depictions, in movies and the like, of sisters helping each other and becoming more confident, have moved all of Japan," the company said.

To see the true pattern on your underwear, you need to bump bras with someone; this might seem a bit strange to Westerners. In Japan, closeness and wearing matching outfits -- including bras -- seem to be part of their futago kode culture, and it makes the bonds of friendship and sisterhood stronger.
