What 'Zelda: Breath Of The Wild' Players Hate: Motion Control Puzzles, Lack Of Dog-Petting Support

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is without a doubt one of the best games to hit the scene, and many reviewers on the internet agree with that statement.

However, nothing's perfect, and Breath of the Wild is no exception. Put simply, players particularly hate the motion control puzzle in the shrine Myahm Agana and the lack of support to pet dogs, and to no one's surprise, they've started expressing their disdain on Twitter.

'Breath Of The Wild' Has So Many Dogs, But You Can't Pet Them

Link can feed dogs in Breath of the Wild, but he can't pet them. Nintendo may have missed the mark on that one, and considering how many friendly canines there are out in Hyrule, it could be considered a little cruel.

Hopefully, Nintendo sets its priorities straight and roll out a patch to fix this issue. Still, it's good to see that the dogs accept players' treats and even run around and catch their own tails.

'Breath Of The Wild' Motion Control Puzzle Is Not What Players Want

While some puzzles in Breath of the Wild require only the player's logical skills or Link's runes, some need a mastery in the marble game Labyrinth, and it's a source of frustration for a lot of gamers.

Sure, calling the game a "total crap" because of a puzzle seems like an exaggeration, but believe everyone when they say how Myahm Agana's head-scratcher is somewhat ruining the whole experience for them.

Tips To Beat The Motion Control Puzzle

Luckily, there are some clever players out there who figured out how to make dealing with the motion control puzzle a bit easier.

First, there's Paul Tassi, a Forbes contributor. He suggests using only the right Joy-Con controller, the one out of the two that holds the gyro component.

This makes sense because one Joy-Con controller is more manageable than the whole Switch in handheld mode.

Second, there's the YouTuber dadbodgames. The trick here is simple: all the player needs to focus on is "getting the ball off and flipping the maze over" and smack it up.

Check out the video below to see it in action, and see how the YouTube user made quick work of the puzzle.

With everything said and done, what do you think of Nintendo's "oversight" with the dog-petting deal and the motion control puzzle in Myahm Agana? Feel free to hit us up in the comments section below and let us know.
